Plantar fasciitis impacts Utah Jazz rookie Rodney Hood's season

Rodney Hood, rookie swingman for the Utah Jazz, returned to the basketball court last week, helping his team beat the Los Angeles Lakers, 94-85. But during Sunday's game against the San Antonio Spurs, Hood re-injured his foot, taking him out of gameplay yet again. Hood has missed more than a dozen games this season because of painful inflammation in his foot, a condition known as plantar fasciitis. Learn more about plantar fasciitis. 

Rare disease brings LDS missionary home early; Treatment is helping him prepare to return to England

Joey Cottrell from Centerville was just five weeks into his LDS mission in England when a rare disease sent him home in a wheelchair, barely able to move. He’s now back on his feet and preparing to return to the mission field, thanks in part to the team of experts at the Neuro Specialty Rehabilitation Unit at Intermountain Medical Center.
