Today is National Donut Day, so I thought it would be appropriate to share a great recipe for a heart-healthy sweet treat with the moms competing in the Intermountain Medical Center Heart Institute's My Heart Challenge: Moms Edition. At first thought, black beans and brownies aren't quite the combination you may have had in mind, but it's a recipe I think you'll be delighted with... just don't let your kids know there are beans in the brownies.
