Visiting Guidelines

Join us in our efforts to care for your family member or friend through brief and pleasant visits. Please supervise small children closely, for their own safety and for the comfort of our patients.

Well visitors only, please. Protect your loved one by staying home if you are sick or have recently been exposed to a contagious illness such as chicken pox, measles, mumps, pertussis (whooping cough), tuberculosis, or rubella. This helps patients avoid infections that could jeopardize their recovery.

General Visiting Hours. Visiting hours are from 5am-10pm, Doors are locked between 10pm and 5am.

Amenities

Business Office

Hours: 7 AM to 9 PM

There is a telephone registration process during the hours that the Business Office is not open. Nursing is on staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Cashier’s Office

Hours: Mon. - Fri. 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sat. 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Patients and guests can pay their hospital bills at the cashier’s office, located at the Admitting Desk in the front lobby.

Dietary Services

Dietary services are contracted through Millard County Care and Rehab. The facility is a short distance from the hospital. Family members are welcome to purchase food throughout the day.

  • Breakfast: 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
  • Lunch: 12:10 to 1:00 p.m. or order one hour ahead for delivery to the hospital
  • Order Dinner before: 5:00 p.m.

 

Gift Shop

The Gift Shop, located in the front lobby, is open by staff members in the business office at customer request. It offers baby quilts and outfits other gifts, decor, and personal care items. Operated by volunteers, Gift Shop proceeds are used to improve hospital services.

Lost & Found

If you’ve lost an item in the hospital, talk to a nurse or go to the Business Office.

Pastoral Services

Sacrament for LDS Church members is provided on Sunday mornings by volunteers. Pastoral care for any faith is available upon request.

Security

Your security while in the hospital is very important to us. If you have questions or concerns about security, please talk to a hospital employee.

Staying Connected

Your room offers a telephone, television and wireless access for your personal laptop, contact the front desk for information.. The telephone and a television remote are by your bedside. To dial outside the hospital, first press “9.” You can make long distance calls using a calling card. If you need help with your phone, please ask your nurse. You are also welcome to use your cell phone in the hospital.

Laboratory

The Laboratory at Delta Community Medical Center is CAP accredited. The College of American Pathologists is the highest level of accreditation available to clinical Laboratories.

Delta Community Medical Center offers a full service laboratory to meet all of your testing needs.

Radiology

  • Diagnostic Imaging
  • Computer Tomography (CT)
  • Mammography
  • MRI (Every other Saturday)
  • Ultrasound, (Alternating days of the week)

Surgical Services

Family Practice Physicians offer surgical services including:

  • Carpal tunnel release
  • Lingual frenectomy
  • Tonsillectomy
  • Adenoidectomy
  • Tympanostomy with or without tube placement (ear tubes)
  • Incisional biopsy of soft tissue mass
  • Inguinal hernia repair
  • Umbilical hernia repair
  • Diagnostic laparoscopy with or without biopsy
  • Paracentesis
  • Insertion of central lines esophagogastroduodenoscopy with or without biopsy (EGD)
  •  Colonoscopy with polypectomy

​At Delta Community Medical Center, we are committed to providing quality care to women and newborns, with an excellent medical staff that plays a crucial role in diagnosis and treatment of medical issues. All registered nurses are required to be certified by the Association of Women's Obstetrical and Neonatal Nurses. Certified Lactation Educator available for breast feeding assistance.

Birthing Center

Mothers-to-be can labor in a spacious room that is uniquely designed to facilitate the birthing process.
