Join us in our efforts to care for your family member or friend through brief and pleasant visits. Please supervise small children closely, for their own safety and for the comfort of our patients.
Due to the infectious nature of the Human Enterovirus D68 illness, the following temporary visiting policies are in effect to protect our patients:
Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby Units
- No visitors under 14 years of age, unless they are siblings of the new infant.
- Children under 14 years of age must remain in the mother's room. They cannot wander the halls or sit in waiting rooms on the unit.
Please do not visit at this time if you have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, wheezing, diarrhea or vomiting.
Well visitors only, please. Protect your loved one by staying home if you are sick or have recently been exposed to a contagious illness such as chicken pox, measles, mumps, pertussis (whooping cough), tuberculosis, or rubella. This helps patients avoid infections that could jeopardize their recovery.
General Visiting Hours. Visitors are allowed at all hours (at the patient’s invitation).
