*We recommend attending this between 32 and 37 weeks gestation, however, it can be taken anytime.
This class is taught by our Board Certified Lactation Consultants and is designed to prepare expectant mothers for breastfeeding. We encourage a support person to attend with mom.
In the Breastfeeding course you will learn about:
- Proper latch-on techniques
- Nursing positions
- Engorgement prevention and treatments
- Expression and storage of breast milk
Breastfeeding is good for the child as well as the mother. For more information, check our resource guide about breastfeeding.
Cost : A $20 fee for a one-time class that lasts for two hours.
