Pennies by the Inch

Pennies by the Inch^® is the oldest door-to-door campaign in the United States, and the only door-to-door fundraising campaign sanctioned by Primary Children’s.

These funds are used for charity care, research, and to support special programs at the hospital. 

Did You Know:

• One out of nine children who walk in the doors of Primary Children’s cannot afford to pay for their medical expenses.
• Last year, the hospital expended more than $14.3 million dollars to cover nearly 15,000 hospital visits by children in need.
• These funds help support special programs at the hospital such as bereavement, music therapy, toys and art supplies.

As volunteers knock on your door, they will ask you to “measure your heart” and give generously to help children receive the care they need.
