September 15 to October 15
Pennies by the Inch is a door-to-door campaign where neighbors invite neighbors to measure their heart and be generously tall to help children at Primary Children’s Medical Center. In the early 1900s it was first known as the Penny Parade. The name was changed to Pennies by the Inch in 1975, and remains one of the oldest door-to-door campaigns in the United States. Every penny, nickel, dime, and dollar go to help children at Primary Children’s Medical Center.
