At Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, we’re committed to providing timely and accurate laboratory services for patients and physicians. We offer a wide spectrum of services to meet each patient’s needs. Under most circumstances, your physician will provide you with a requisition for lab services during your doctor visit. However, the lab also provides a number of self-directed tests which you can obtain without paperwork or an order from a physician.
To obtain laboratory work at Utah Valley, no appointment is necessary. Just report to the Outpatient Center located on the northeast corner of the campus on the 1st floor, where a representative will arrange for your lab work.
Self-directed laboratory work available at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center:
- Blood Typing
- Cholesterol
- Glucose
- Lipid Profile
- Pregnancy
- Strep Screen
- Pro Time (PT)
- Rapid Strep Screen
Please note, since self-directed tests are not ordered by a physician, they are not covered by insurance. All self-directed tests must be paid for at the time of service.
Hours of operation
7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday
7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends and most holidays
