    The focus of our effort is best possible control of diabetes, avoidance of hypoglycemia, prevention of cardiovascular complications associated with diabetes, treatment of hypertension, treatment of elevated cholesterol and lipids, and prevention and treatment of other complications of diabetes including eye disease, kidney dysfunction, and neuropathies.

  • Diabetes Education

    Most people when diagnosed with diabetes never receive education about how to manage this costly and debilitating disease. Yet, diabetes is the sixth leading cause of death in the U.S. and it is a leading cause of adult blindness, lower-limb amputation, kidney disease and nerve damage in America.

  • Clinic Staff

    Clinicians specializing in the care of diabetic patients are available for clinic visits. Diabetes educators assist in teaching patients and their families how to manage diabetes in their daily lives in both an inpatient and outpatient settings.

The Utah Valley Regional Medical Center Diabetes Management Clinic has been a winner of the Diabetes Center of Excellence given by the Utah State Diabetes Prevention and Control Program. Our clinic is the only American Diabetes Association-certified facility for diabetes education in the Utah Valley area.
