The Speech Language Pathology department provides assessment and treatment of a variety of speech, language and cognitive deficits including communication difficulties as a result of a stroke, traumatic brain injury, concussion or other neurogenic conditions.
We also evaluate and treat deficits of voice production, stuttering, and difficulties in swallowing.
Specialty programs for communication difficulties in Parkinson Disease patients and disorders of swallowing are available. Evaluation and treatment for pediatric speech and language impairments is also provided.
Our therapists have more than 75 years of combined practice experience, and continue to improve their understanding of the field through specialty certification and ongoing education to provide extraordinary care.
