Did you know that injuries are the leading cause of death for children and adults under the age of 44? At Valley View Medical Center our Emergency Room caregivers see the reality of this statistic. In 2011, our hospital saw a 20% increase in major emergency and trauma related cases. That is why we are working to advance Valley View to a Level IV trauma center.
To help us achieve this designation, we are working to enhance our technology and patient communication through the purchase of a new patient monitoring system, ultrasound, GlideScope and trauma beds.
