During the assessment, an exercise specialist will lead you through various tests such as a step test, wall sit, or grip strength test. If you've had a fitness assessment at a LiVe Well Center before, you'll be able to compare with your past results. If you haven't had a fitness assessment before, the assessment will establish those baseline measurements for comparison in the future.
During the appointment, you'll have the chance to ask any questions about your exercise and physical activity routines. The exercise specialist will help you identify areas for improvement and determine an action plan to help you achieve your goals.

While functional fitness assessments are traditionally performed in-person at the LiVe Well Center, you can also schedule one as a video visit. While some of the tests may vary due to not having the same equipment that we have in-person, we have strategically designed telehealth fitness assessments to measure all the main areas of fitness that would be measured in-person. So, you can still receive valuable measurements of your physical fitness and helpful discussion with the exercise specialist all over a video call.
