Ingredients:
- 1 16-oz package dried green split peas, rinsed
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 3 large carrots, diced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 6 cups vegetable broth
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions:
Pour all of the ingredients in a slow cooker and stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or high 3 to 4 hours. Remove and discard bay leaf before serving. Enjoy!
