Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging
We intentionally work toward an Intermountain Health that reflects our diverse communities and provides culturally competent care, health equity, and a sense of belonging amongst all our caregivers (employees). This is an important part of fulfilling our mission to help people live the healthiest lives possible.
Caregiver Resource Groups
CRGs are employee-led groups of common causes or shared life experiences. CRGs create a supportive space to network and exchange ideas and concerns.
This CRG empowers individuals with disabilities and their caregivers by fostering inclusion, advancing accessibility, and celebrating abilities. At Intermountain, we are committed to breaking barriers and ensuring equal opportunities for all, regardless of visible or invisible disabilities.
This CRG encourages women to elevate other women’s voices. Intermountain is a better organization when women rise to their own potential.
This CRG unites caregivers of all faiths and spiritual practices to foster compassion, empathy, and mutual understanding. By celebrating diverse beliefs, we build bridges that strengthen community connections and create a more inclusive Intermountain.
This CRG ensures marginalized and medically underserved LGBTQ+ communities will be welcome, safe and supported within Intermountain.
This CRG is a community for caregivers who are veterans, currently serving, or allies. This group helps ensure the success of life outside of active service.
This CRG is a sanctuary for communities of color. This group offers support to members as they educate the greater Intermountain community about diverse experiences.
This is a community of members to encourage women and girls to pursue opportunities in analytic and STEM careers. This group offers support, growth, and enhancement of work-life integration.

Equal employment opportunity and affirmative action policy
Intermountain Health has established a comprehensive diversity, health equity, and inclusion initiative. Our goal is for Intermountain’s
leadership, governance, caregivers, suppliers, and partners to reflect the community we serve and provide culturally competent care to
achieve health equity. Our Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action policy is an important element to help us achieve
this goal.
