Michael Anderson

Michael Anderson was born and raised in Sandy, Utah. He attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University in Arizona, where he received the Wiche Scholarship. Michael had the opportunity to participate in medical service missions to both Senegal and Tonga, where he initially developed a passion for treating foot and ankle pathologies. He is married with two children, fluent in Portuguese, and enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and hiking. In his free time, he also enjoys playing sports, especially basketball and pickleball.

Saloni Buch

Saloni is from Chicago, IL and received her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology and Spanish at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Rosalind Franklin University, Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. While at SCPM, she served as vice president of the Illinois Podiatric Medical Student Association and organized the annual Diwali show with various student dance performances. Saloni enjoys dancing, cooking, playing soccer, Bollywood music, and spending time with her friends and family.

Tobee Gunter

Tobee is a Utah native who graduated with honors in human development at the University of Utah. She then received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Des Moines University in Iowa. There she served as a teaching assistant for the surgical courses and vice president of the student chapter of American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She was a student representative for podiatric public health and an active volunteer at women’s shelters and clinics. Tobee has traveled across the world presenting research and placed in many conferences. She enjoys running, biking, gymnastics, exploring Utah’s mountains, snow and water sports, baking and driving her motorcycle.

Trent Haslam

Trent was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He received his undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Utah.  After earning his bachelor’s degree, Trent completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine.  In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, snowboarding, weightlifting, hiking, and golfing. Trent is excited for the opportunity to treat the community he grew up in.

Connor Reed

Connor earned his bachelor’s degree in biomechanics from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Des Moines University.  Connor was an active student at DMU, serving as research coordinator for the DMU student chapter of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a lower limb anatomy teaching assistant, as well as participating in many clubs and intramural sports.  Connor and his wife Jordan are native Nebraskans and are excited to move to Utah with their son Carson.  They enjoy exercising, skiing, traveling, and cheering on the Huskers.

Gautam Sowda

Gautam is from San Jose, CA.  He received his bachelor’s degree in biomechanical engineering from Georgia Tech and his doctorate degree from the California School of Podiatric Medicine. While in podiatry school, he was involved in community service, student organizations, and research.  Outside of podiatry, he enjoys trying new restaurants, watching anime, and hiking/running trails.
