Intermountain Health provides Short-Term and Long-Term Disability to benefit-eligible caregivers. If you are unable to work due to an extended illness or a non-work-related injury, your disability benefits will replace a portion of your income. Disability income will help you manage household expenses until you are able to return to work.
Effective January 1, 2024, Intermountain Health offers Short-Term and Long-Term disability insurance through The Hartford. Benefits-eligible caregivers may receive income replacement for illness or injuries lasting up to six months. Caregivers may review plan details on the myBenefits website or through MyIntermountain.
Colorado caregivers may be eligible for paid family leave benefits under FAMLI. All FAMLI leave claims will be managed by The Hartford.
