Our surgeons are leaders in the Congenital Heart Surgeons Society, Society of Thoracic Surgeons, American Association of Thoracic Surgeons, and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.

Our technologies

• EchoPixel
  This transforms Echocardiograms, CT scans, and MRIs into true three-dimensional images. Our team uses these images to plan each surgical repair in advance. We are one of the first five hospitals in the world to have adopted this breakthrough technology.
• Mechanical Circulatory Support/VAD
  This helps give your child the heart and lung support they need and the personalized time to recover. These treatments can also offer some time to pursue other options or wait for a transplant.
• Hybrid operating room and catheterization lab suite
  The suite helps seamlessly provide the level of care your child needs, by combining a cardiac operating room and a catheterization lab into one space. Because sometimes a catheter is needed before or after surgery, or a child with a catheter needs an operation. 
• Innovative techniques and breakthrough surgical devices 
  We want to offer your child the best care possible. Depending on their health, this might be a minimally invasive treatment or more invasive care, and to find the right level of care, we'll work with you and your family. Some of our treatment options include Aortic Annuloplasty rings, Transcatheter/Percutaneous valves, and refined approaches with the Ross Procedure.
