With precise cardiac care, we want to help your child live their healthy future.

The pediatric pulmonary artery reconstruction program at Intermountain Children's Health is here to help your child with their congenital pulmonary artery disease. We understand the complexity of this disease, and with our experience and compassionate care we’ve developed surgical techniques that help your child achieve their best possible outcome.

Some of the conditions we treat include:

  • Tetralogy of Fallot (ToF) with pulmonary atresia and Major aortopulmonary collateral arteries (MAPCAs)
  • Isolated pulmonary artery of ductal origin
  • Pulmonary Vascular Disease or Williams Syndrome (PPAR peripheral pulmonary artery reconstructions)
  • Complex congenital pulmonary artery disease--stents, long-standing stenoses

As one of the few top pediatric programs in the U.S. offering personalized treatments, our surgeons approach each case with an individualized plan tailored to your child and family.

What to expect

Our care begins with cardiac testing to identify the causes and define the severity of the disease. We give every available option to combat your child’s disease, improve their quality of life, and increase their chance for long-term survival. Additionally, our program provides support for the complete wellbeing of you, your child, and your family by offering compassionate care and empowering hope. Upon repair, most children will need to see a pediatric cardiologist annually to monitor progress.

If you are a provider and are looking to refer a child to our program, contact HeartCenterReferral@imail.org and our outreach coordinators will be in touch.
