    Introducing the Advanced Training Program in Clinical Quality Improvement (ATP), a cornerstone of Intermountain’s commitment to excellence in healthcare for over three decades. With a prestigious alumni network of over 6,500 graduates and 50 sister programs worldwide, ATP stands as a comprehensive educational initiative tailored for healthcare professionals. This intensive course equips participants to lead, implement, and evaluate quality improvement strategies, emphasizing both clinical outcomes and operational efficiencies. Participants gain practical insights and the expertise needed to drive measurable improvements in healthcare delivery.

    The Advanced Training Program (ATP) is designed for healthcare professionals who are in positions of administrative and/or clinical leadership, and/or those who are responsible for designing and/or managing quality improvement initiatives and/or quality improvement training or education programs.

    ATP was thoughtfully designed to be nimble, adaptable, and results-driven in a value-based care model. Most importantly, it respects the legacy of ATP while embracing the future and delivering just-in-time content.

    We offer a group rate for those who register as a team. The cost breakdown is as follows:

    Hybrid Offering:
    $12,000 for one participant
    $22,000 for two participants working on the same project
    $31,000 for three participants working on the same project

    Virtual Offering:
    $10,000 for one participant
    $18,000 for two participants working on the same project
    $25,000 for three participants working on the same project
    For 4 or more participants, please contact us for the price breakdown

    Cancellations must be made at least 40 days prior to the first day of class for a full refund. Cancellations fewer than 40 days prior to the first day of class will forfeit 50% of tuition.

    • Approval from participant’s direct leader to participate
    • Fully attend and engage in all sessions as scheduled (recordings are made available for missed sessions)
    • Complete assigned pre- and post- work (including homework outside of class)
    • Meet with assigned ATP coach at least 4 times outside of class
    • Complete a sponsored quality improvement project
    • Participant’s direct leader will be invited to attend the final project presentation and ensure the work continues using either Intermountain’s Operating Model or the home organization operating model to track outcomes after the project transitions to daily work

    • Approximately 72 hours of combined interactive and didactic education delivered by outstanding internal and external faculty who are experts in their fields
    • Professional consultants from the Healthcare Delivery Institute, Data and Analytics, Clinical Excellence and Continuous Improvement to ensure success of quality improvement project and guidance for engaging leaders to integrate new processes into workflow after completion of the course
    • The opportunity to join a national and international network that provides ongoing support and information sharing for future collaborations

    • Hybrid ATP courses contain a mix of full-day, in-person sessions in Murray, UT and virtual, ½-day sessions via Zoom. Travel to Salt Lake City is required for the in-person sessions
    • Fully virtual ATP courses are held live via Zoom, consisting of two ½-day sessions per week
