Amy Howell, PA-C, has lived in the Ogden area all of her life, up until her move to the Tremonton area in 2021. After studying respiratory therapy at Weber State University, she worked in that capacity from 1990 to 2010 at McKay-Dee Hospital, serving people of all ages. Early on, she began working in the NICU, where she spent most of her respiratory therapy career.

She returned to Weber State University in 2007 to complete her bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy, and then went on to pursue a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at the University of Utah. She then joined the Liver Transplant Program at Intermountain Medical Center in 2012, before transferring back to McKay-Dee Hospital in 2015 to specialize in electrophysiology.

In 2022, Amy was pleased to join the Bear River Family Medicine Clinic, where she could get back to the roots of her PA training by treating all ages and multiple medical conditions.
