We are dedicated to caring for children with disabilities and chronic complex diagnoses. We strive to enhance the health, well-being, and quality of life for children with functional limitations, whether congenital or acquired. We employ a collaborative, team-based approach to treatment, working closely with specialists in orthopedics, neurosurgery, neurology, behavioral health, and the Shriners Gait Lab.

Our goal is to improve the function, independence, and overall health of all children with physical differences or disabilities.

We receive most of our referrals from physical and occupational therapists, primary care physicians, and specialty services such as orthopedics, neurology, and neurosurgery. Together, we strive to provide comprehensive and coordinated care tailored to each child's unique needs

Baclofen Pump Therapy Program

Our Baclofen Pump Therapy Program is designed for children with severe spasticity. The baclofen pump is an implantable device that delivers medication directly to the spinal fluid, helping to relax muscles and reduce spasms. This therapy can significantly improve comfort, mobility, and quality of life for children with conditions such as cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, and severe brain injuries.

We also offer different treatment and surgical options such as Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR), which is a surgical procedure aimed at reducing spasticity in the muscles of the lower extremities. This surgery involves cutting specific nerve rootlets in the spinal cord to decrease abnormal signals that cause muscle tightness. SDR can improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance the overall quality of life for children with spasticity, particularly those with cerebral palsy.
