Outpatient Rehabilitation Therapy

Outpatient Rehabilitation Therapy offers specialized services in occupational, physical, and speech therapy to help children develop and regain essential skills. Occupational therapy focuses on enhancing daily living activities, physical therapy improves strength, mobility, and coordination, while speech therapy addresses communication, language, and swallowing difficulties. Together, these therapies provide a comprehensive approach to support children’s growth, independence, and overall well-being.

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

The Primary Children's Hospital Rehab Medicine Clinic is a pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation clinic comprised of an integrated group of physicians who care for children with disabilities and chronic complex diagnoses. We promote the health, well-being and quality of life for children with functional limitations related to congenital or acquired conditions, in a team-based model of value-driven healthcare. We take a multidisciplinary approach to care, treating patients while working collaboratively with other specialties including but not limited to orthopedics, neurosurgery, neurology, behavioral health, and the Shriners Gait Lab. We treat all children with physical differences/disabilities with the goal of improving their function, independence, and health.

Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapy

Inpatient rehabilitation provides care for toddlers, children and adolescents who have experienced a significant change in function or cognitive status due to a traumatic event, acute medical condition, or complications from a chronic medical condition. Our program follows a multidisciplinary team approach focused on optimizing the ability of the patient to return to his or her daily life.
