Having a Baby with an OB/GYN or Midwife
As a patient, you are the most important member of your healthcare team. Our experts are here to support you whether you choose to have your baby with an OB/GYN or midwife. Many families who have considered a birthing center and/or doula experience find delivering with a Certified Nurse Midwife allows them flexibility in their birth plan, but the peace of mind of a hospital birth. Your team may also include Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) and NICU doctors as they work closely with you and your provider both during pregnancy and after delivering.
