CHARM Clinic

The CHARM Clinic at Primary Children's Hospital is one of the few places in the western United States providing care for children and adolescents with anorectal malformations (imperforate anus, anterior anus, cloaca), Hirschsprung’s disease, and other issues related to bowel function such as constipation and fecal incontinence.

For children with anorectal malformations and Hirschsprung’s Disease this care begins at diagnosis Lifelong follow up care for complex conditions Individualized and coordinated care throughout course of care Our surgeons perform complex reconstructive procedures including the posterior anorectoplasty (PSARP) and pull through procedure
