We'll call you to set it up!
Fractures can range from serious to minor, but our sports medicine specialists treat every broken bone with the care and expertise it deserves. We see fractures on a daily basis and specialize in providing treatment to get you healed with a treatment plan that fits your needs and lifestyle without compromising your long-term outcomes.
The treatment for most fractures is to immobilize the bone and allow it to heal on its own. Immobilizing the bone can be done with a cast (which in many cases is waterproof -- a huge bonus for convenience and fun!), a boot, a splint, or soft brace, depending on the severity of the break. We will work with you to determine the best possible treatment with the least amount of inconvenience.
In some instances, a broken bone may need to be set into place or put back into alignment. We sports medicine physicians are experts in setting fractures so that your bones can heal properly. In cases where surgery is needed to secure the bone in place, we can refer to you quickly to an orthopedic surgeon.
