In addition to eating healthy, you can find more ways to live a heart-healthy lifestyle at the Intermountain Medical Center Heart Institute's Free Family Heart Fair on Saturday, February 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 slices whole wheat or whole grain bread
- 1 peeled banana
- Roughly 1/2 cup peanut butter
DIRECTIONS
- Remove crusts from bread.
- Lay 2 slices of bread on the counter next to each other, slightly overlapping to create 1 big rectangle.
- Push together at the overlap and roll with a rolling pin to flatten.
- Spread an even layer of peanut butter (or you could use almond butter or apple butter) on the bread.
- Roll up the bread around the banana.
- Slice each log into 6 even pieces, much like a sushi roll.
- Serve.
