The Intermountain Medical Center Podiatry Medicine and Surgery Residency Program participates in the Centralized Residency Interview Process or CRIP. In addition to applications submitted through CRIP, we also consider the following criteria:

  1. Applicants should be in the top 50% of their class.
  2. Applicants should be certified in CPR, BLS, and ACLS.
  3. Applicants must be able to provide a CV and 3 letters of recommendation.
  4. Applicants must have registered for selective service and be willing to live within 30 minutes of Intermountain Medical Center.
  5. NBPME must be passed by July 1 of the applicant's first year of residency.
  6. A background check and drug screen is required.
  7. This program does not sponsor visas.

Because the applicants work primarily at the VA during their first year, additional conditions may apply. Please contact the program office if you would like further details.
