Intermountain Medical Center
Our Transitional Year Residency is based at Intermountain Medical Center. The residency is designed by Intermountain Healthcare for residents who desire a broad clinical experience to prepare them for a career in a specialty field.
Specialties that may require a first year of training are offered through our residency and include anesthesiology, radiology, radiation oncology, ophthalmology, dermatology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and emergency medicine.
Our residency is a fully accredited one-year program based in a highly efficient private hospital medical campus, independently administered and staffed by local faculty and personnel.
Meet our talented, highly-educated residents currently in the Transitional Year Residency through their bios, and learn where program graduates are now.
Our program provides an exciting schedule with the flexibility needed to train interns bound for diverse specialties, with three full months of elective time.
Transitional Year Residency participates in the National Residency Matching Program for first-year residency positions.
