The Transitional Year Residency program provides residents with a well-balanced approach to learning, in an environment that enhances both clinical skills and personal development. That's why our residency program attracts talented, highly-educated residents.

Tyler earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin following his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) and the American Medical Association. He received a stipend based on the strength of his research project. Tyler has several peer-reviewed articles and poster presentations. He enjoys woodworking in his spare time.
Graduates of Intermountain Medical Center's Transitional Year Residency have successfully completed our one-year program and have been accepted to top specialty programs throughout the country.
