General instructions: Please contact your preceptor about where to enter the facility as some doors are closed during certain hours.
Parking consequences: Please follow all posted parking guidelines. Enforcement is strictly monitored, and vehicles in violation may be cited or towed.
Alta View Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: None
American Fork Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: Students must park on the east side of the hospital. Turn east on 90th North to drive to the east side of the hospital. Park in the caregiver/employee parking lot.
Bear River Valley Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: Students please park in employee parking for the hospital on the Southwest side of the hospital in the blue stalls. Enter through the ED entrance.
Cassia Regional Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: There are blue-lined parking stalls behind the hospital that are reserved for volunteers and students.

Student Parking Instructions: Student parking is in front of the hospital in the lower-level lot.

Student Parking Instructions: Students should park in the back of the hospital. Do not park in visitor parking.
Good Samaritan Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: Please park in lot 2B in front of the hospital. After we verify your badge access, you will then park in 1D.
Heber Valley Hospital

Holy Rosary Hospital
Parking Guidance for Students: At Holy Rosary Hospital, the back two rows of each parking lot are designated for caregivers and students. Most of these areas are marked with signage. We ask that front parking spaces remain available for patients and visitors whenever possible.

Layton Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: Park in employee parking (blue-lined stalls further from the main entrance)
LDS Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: Park in the main parking garage on the west side of the hospital on the lowest levels 1&2. Then enter through the main doors (West entrance).
Logan Regional Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: Use the parking terrace South-East of the hospital. There are additional blue stall employee parking options West of the main entrance.
Lutheran Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: Parking on our campus is free. On your first day, you may park in Lot A. Once you receive your student badge, please park in Lot C.
McKay-Dee Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: Students are expected to park in the parking terrace garage located at the North Campus on Eccles Ave and ride the free shuttle to the hospital. The shuttle runs every 5-10 minutes between 4:30 am – 7:30 pm. Limited parking is available in the parking spots surrounding the hospital. Students may only park in employee lots, designated by parking stalls with blue lines. Students are NOT permitted to park in the ER parking lot.
Orem Community Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: Students must park in the westerly lot located east of the soccer field and west of the Women’s Center. Enter through the ER entrance. Cars parked illegally will be booted or towed by University Towing (801-377-8200).
Park City Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: None
Platte Valley Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: No assigned parking at Platte Valley Hospital. There is an employee lot on the north side. However, there are no parking restrictions for students at this location.
Primary Children’s Hospital – Salt Lake Campus
Student Parking Instructions: Student parking at PCH SLC is strictly prohibited; therefore, please use Trax to drop you off at the front of the hospital. Visit the UTA website at https://www.rideuta.com/. If you are not working at the main PCH SLC campus, please work with your Clinical Instructor to find out where it is best to park at your clinic. You are also not allowed to park at the University of Utah. If you do, you may be fined $50 by their parking enforcement.
Primary Children’s Hospital – Lehi Campus
Student Parking Instructions: Please park in the parking spots with blue lines this is employee parking and you do not need a pass. You may park on the street if there is no parking available in the lots.
Primary Children’s Hospital – Taylorsville Campus
Student Parking Instructions: Students may park in the employee parking lot on the south end of the building. However, students must have a parking pass. Parking passes can be obtained with security at the front lobby desk.
Riverton Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: None
Sanpete Valley Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: Students can park in the employee parking lot east of the main entrance.
Saratoga Springs Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: None
Sevier Valley Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: Students are required to park in perimeter spaces (lined in blue) on the East and North lots.
Spanish Fork Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: Students can park in any caregiver/employee lot.
St. George Regional Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: We request that all students park in the employee parking bowl (across from the Health and Performance Center). There is an employee shuttle that they can use to take them to their building. A map of the St. George Regional Hospital buildings and parking lots is attached.
NOTE: The student will need to bring a copy of their license plate to the badging office so security can register their car in the system.
**If they are doing their clinicals outside of shuttle hours, they are welcome to park in any employee parking spot lined with blue.
St. James Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: None
St. Mary’s Regional Hospital
Student Parking Instructions:
- All day shift caregivers, including students, should park east of 7th Street in Lots M, N, O, P, or Q, except for areas signed or denoted for visitors. No students should park at the Main Entrance, Emergency Entrance (Entrance 2), Lot B, Lot D, or in the parking garage, unless called in for emergency situations.
- All students are required to complete a Parking Form. Students can obtain the form by contacting Security by e-mail at [email protected] or at Extension 8-2411.
- Unregistered vehicles will be given a citation, which is equivalent to a parking ticket, and the caregiver will be subject to corresponding corrective action.
- Annual review for confirmation and/or updated information for proper vehicle registration will be required. Students can provide their annual review for confirmation/update their information by contacting Security by e-mail at [email protected] or at Extension 8-2411.

St. Vincent Regional Hospital

Saint Joseph Hospital
Student Parking Instructions: Parking on our campus is free. On your first day, you may park in the attached garage A. Once you receive your badge, please park in garage E (caregiver parking) on the corner of 19th and Downing.
Utah Valley Hospital
Student Parking Instructions:
Students must park in the lot located on the south end of campus. Enter lots on 300 West and 800 North.
Parking Violations:
- For the first parking violation, the student will be issued a warning.
- The second violation will include a tire boot and a $35 fine to remove and a loss of parking privileges. Fines are paid at the facility’s Cashier’s office. Once paid, the student must contact the Security Officer to remove the tire boot.
- For the third violation, the car will be towed by University Towing (801-377-8200) at the owner’s expense.
