Nominate an excellent nurse by April 4 for Intermountain's 2022 Nursing Excellence Awards

Nurse with patient sized for Caregiver News

Do you work with a nurse or caregiver on the nursing care team who consistently provides compassionate, clinically excellent care to patients? Take a minute to nominate a nurse for Intermountain’s 2022 Nursing Excellence Awards. Nominations are being accepted until Monday, April 4.

Any caregiver may nominate an RN or LPN who is in a direct patient care role. This also includes RNs working in non-patient facing roles, such as Care Transformation Information Systems (CTIS) or the Central Office.

New this year, there’s a “Partners in Excellence” nomination category that recognizes caregivers who are part of the nursing care team providing patient care, including PCTs, CNAs, MAs, and social workers.

Please nominate nurses and caregivers who have shown extraordinary care and consistently demonstrate the Nursing Professional Practice model elements of empower, advocate, lead, innovate, and collaborate.

As we celebrate the 2022 accomplishments of exceptional nurses and partners in excellence, it would be impossible to do so without recognizing the care and support they have given each other during the pandemic and their extraordinary strength,” says Sue Robel, RN, Intermountain’s chief nursing executive. “This year, the Nursing Excellence Award committee has chosen the theme, ‘Stand Together. Stand Strong,’ to recognize the strength of Intermountain nurses and the care they show each other.”
