Volunteers from Intermountain Homecare joined other volunteers at Shriner’s Hospital to help children in wheelchairs feel more included in Halloween by creating fun and exciting costumes built around their wheelchairs. The Homecare team has participated in this event for many years.

“Intermountain Homecare had two teams of four volunteers that participated this year,” says Scott Naylor, wheelchair shop manager. “They helped create four wheelchair costumes for four wonderful kids. Some kids were non-verbal, but the smiles said it all. Like many other volunteer efforts, the reward was far greater for the volunteers. Thanks to Shriner’s and many others for making more than 60 kids stand out this year.”
