Adaptive Care Program

The Adaptive Care Program helps individuals with developmental disabilities in the medical setting. The Adaptive Care team works together with parents and caregivers to find out how best to support each patient. This information is shared with the patient’s medical team to make hospital or clinic visits more positive and more productive. This program is available at no additional cost.

Referral criteria: We support families who have a child that is 3 years or older and has

  • A developmental disability
  • Difficulty coping and cooperating in the hospital beyond what is age appropriate

This service is available at all Primary Children's locations. To learn more, please call 385-531-4168 or email AdaptiveCare@imail.org.
