Laura Cipro is an experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner with a demonstrated history of working with clients in acute psychiatric crisis as well as successfully helping patients manage symptoms of chronic mental illness. Laura has almost ten years of experience working in the medical field. Laura studied at Georgetown University in Washington, DC for her first undergraduate degree, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in History and Minor Government in 2007. Laura then went on to gain her nursing education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in Baltimore, MD in 2010. In 2010 Laura was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society. In 2014 Laura completed her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner training and degree at the University of Maryland?s School of Nursing. Laura is a certified psychiatric mental health practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has worked all over the country in positions working with both pediatric and adult patients, however she specializes in the treatment of pediatric mental healthcare. Laura is currently a member of the Utah Nurse Practitioners and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association
