- Dr. Cobabe was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Niigata, Japan. She earned her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Brigham Young University. She attended the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine for medical school, and completed her residency at Multicare Tacoma Family Medicine. Maurine enjoys dancing and other sports including running, rock climbing, mountain biking, and soccer. Dr. Cobabe loves living in Utah with her husband and kids.
