Mount Saint Vincent’s Therapeutic Foster Care Program enables children with moderate emotional, behavioral and/or mental health needs to excel in a family setting. Our program licenses therapeutic foster parents who have the desire and ability to unconditionally care for children with a variety of needs through a trauma-informed lens.
Our licensed, therapeutic foster parents provide a safe, stable, and unconditionally nurturing home environment conducive to a child’s positive development. Individualized treatment goals targeting each child’s diverse needs are established to support the child’s developmental progress and permanency outcomes – which can include reunification, kinship care, or adoption.
The intentional design of our continuum of support and care makes our Therapeutic Foster Care team a powerful resource for children with moderate behavioral, emotional, or other special medical needs; and for the foster parents supporting them.
