At Intermountain Layton Parkway Women’s Health we are pleased to offer care by both OB/GYN and Nurse Midwife providers. While there is considerable overlap in the services we offer, our providers do have specific areas of focus and expertise.

The clinic is located within the Intermountain Layton Hospital, which is where our patients deliver their babies.

Our goal is to develop a relationship built on trust and shared decision making. It is important to us you feel heard when sharing your desires, preferences and plans for your treatment plan.

During Pregnancy

During pregnancy our patients look forward to the time they spend with our team as we focus on their unique needs. For most, it is a time of anticipation and excitement, while for others it can lead to increased concerns; particularly if there are health challenges or a history of loss.

Gynecology

Feelings about seeing a provider for a gynecology appointment can be different. We recognize this and strive to help you feel at ease when you are with us for an appointment.

Obstetric practice with focus on care of patients with higher-risk conditions such as twin pregnancy, diabetes or hypertension.

Our team of OB/GYN’s also treat those who prefer physician lead obstetric care.

Nurse Midwife Services

Nurse midwives care for women at every stage of life from adolescence through menopause. We pride ourselves in giving one-on-one labor support during and immediately after birth, which has been shown in studies to decrease birth complications and unnecessary surgery while increasing women’s satisfaction with their experience.

All Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) are registered nurses with a graduate degree in midwifery. Our nurse midwives work closely with their care partners including Obstetrician/Gynecologists and Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists to provide collaborative, high quality care.
