Our café offers buffet-style dining featuring daily entrees, healthy options, and a salad bar.

Car Trouble

Hospital Security officers can inflate low tires, jump car batteries, and connect you with a low-cost company to help if you are locked out. Contact the officer on duty.

Cashier's Office

Patients and guests can pay their hospital bills, cash checks and even buy stamps at the Cashier’s office.

Chapel & Meditation Room

A non-denominational chapel, which also serves as a meditation room, is open to patients, family members and visitors. Weekly worship services conducted in the chapel include LDS sacrament services and Catholic Mass. A meditation room is located on the sixth floor of the main tower, on the east side, adjacent to the ICU waiting room. Protestant communion is also available on an individual basis. A religious leader can be reached by calling the operator.

Email a Patient

Send an electronic message to a patient at LDS Hospital and a volunteer will print out your message and take it to the patient.

If you would like to send flowers or other gifts to a patient, contact the volunteer-operated Gift Shop.

Gift Shop

The Gift Shop offers magazines, candy, cards, flowers, balloons, decor and personal care items. Operated by volunteers, Gift Shop proceeds help improve hospital services.

Your security while in the hospital is very important to us. If you have questions or concerns about security, feel free to stop by the Safety & Security office on the sixth floor, central area, during normal business hours, or contact the officer on duty at any time.

Interpretation Services

We provide interpretation services for all patients and families, for almost all spoken languages and sign language. Let your nurse know that you need an interpreter.

Lodging for Families

Family Guest House provides temporary lodging at a minimal cost to family members of critically ill patients. The house is comfortable and is conveniently located across the street from the hospital. Space is subject to availability. To learn more, contact the social worker assigned to your unit.

Lost & Found

Stop by or call the office during normal business hours to check on lost items, or contact the officer on duty at any time by calling the same number.

Medical Library

The Medical Library provides access to the latest medical research and findings. Computers, a fax machine, and a copy machine are available.

The pharmacy fills outpatient prescriptions and offers a small selection of over-the-counter medications.

Spiritual Support

Religious leaders of different faiths are on-call to provide spiritual support and prayer. Ask the operator for the contact number of the clergy member of your choice.

Staying Connected

Your room offers a telephone, television. The telephone and a television remote are by your bedside. To dial outside the hospital, first press “9.” You can make long distance calls using a calling card. If you need help with your phone, please ask your nurse or care giver. You are also welcome to use your cell phone in all areas of the hospital except for operating rooms or for patient rooms in critical care and emergency departments.

Valet Parking

This free service is available at the main entrance, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The valet will meet you at your car and park it for you so you can go straight into the hospital. No tips, please!
