We welcome well visitors of all ages to visit patients at LDS Hospital. Visitors provide encouragement and support, which aids in the healing process.
Please supervise children.
Check with your nurse for unit-specific information.
Healthy Visitors Only
Stay home if you are sick or have recently been exposed to a contagious illness, such as chicken pox, measles, mumps, pertussis (whooping cough), tuberculosis, or rubella. This helps patients avoid infections that could jeopardize their recovery.
Intensive Care Unit
Immediate family members over the age of 10 are welcome at any time. You may want to avoid visiting between 7–8:30, a.m. and p.m. when nurses do reports and care preparation.
Women and Newborn Unit
All visitors should check in at the front desk or with hospital personnel before entering the unit. With the exception of siblings, children under age 14 aren’t allowed on the unit for the health and well-being of our littlest patients. During flu season, to keep our patients safe, additional restrictions are considered.
Special Care Nursery
Visitors are welcome at the invitation of the parents at any time.
Visiting after 9 p.m.
Most outside doors are locked after 6:30 p.m. To visit after hours, enter through the main entrance and check in with hospital security.
To maintain a healing environment, please be as quiet as possible when visiting with family and friends.
