The Inpatient Medical Detoxification program at LDS Hospital provides short-term medical stabilization for patients suffering from chemical substance addition. Medical detox may be necessary prior to beginning ongoing outpatient or residential treatment. The hospital’s safe environment and supportive staff are ideal for patients who require 24-hour intensive treatment and monitoring.

A board-certified psychiatrist oversees patient care in this setting. Each patient receives a comprehensive assessment and evaluation to ensure a thorough understanding of potential problems or strengths. All aspects of a patient’s needs are integrated into an individualized treatment plan.

Once the patient is stable, they are encouraged to transition to the next level of treatment and continue their recovery in our Dayspring Substance Abuse Treatment Programs

Inpatient Medical Detox is offered based on physician referral. If you need help and don't have a primary care provider, please contact our Behavioral Health Access Center at (801) 408-8330.
