Our Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) suites are the only facilities of their kind in Utah County. Each of the 24 private suites allows a mother to remain in the same room for labor, delivery, recovery and the remainder of her maternity stay. Keeping mom and baby together immediately after delivery and as much as the mother desires during her stay is one of our highest priorities.
Large suites also allow family members to participate in the birth process to whatever degree the mother feels comfortable with. Siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends get to know the new arrival in style rather than simply waving through a nursery window.
The Newborn Nursery is directly across the hall from the LDRP suites. Highly-trained staff and the latest equipment are there for your baby and for your peace of mind. Whether you're starting a family or adding on to one, we understand how personal having a baby is for both you and your partner. At Orem Community Hospital, you'll be able to count on us to help you have the experience you desire.
