Obstetric Care (Pregnancy & Delivery)

  • Prenatal care: Regular checkups, ultrasounds, and screenings to monitor your health and your baby's development throughout pregnancy
  • High-risk pregnancy management: Specialized monitoring and care plans for pregnancies with complications such as gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, or multiple pregnancies
  • Labor and delivery support: Our OB-GYNs and certified nurse-midwives deliver at St. Mary's Regional Hospital, offering both traditional and midwife-assisted birth options
  • Postpartum care: Follow-up visits to support your recovery, address breastfeeding concerns, and screen for postpartum depression 

Midwifery Care

  • Certified nurse-midwife (CNM) services: Our CNMs provide personalized, whole-person prenatal care, labor support, and well-woman gynecologic care for patients who prefer a midwifery approach
  • Birth planning support: Collaborative birth plan development so you feel confident and prepared for your delivery  

Gynecologic and Preventive Well Woman Care

  • Annual well-woman exams: Comprehensive wellness visits including pelvic exams, Pap smears, and breast exams
  • Contraception and family planning: Counseling and management of birth control options, including IUDs, implants, oral contraceptives, and natural family planning
  • Menopause management: Symptom evaluation and treatment options for hot flashes, mood changes, sleep disruption, and bone health, including hormone replacement therapy when appropriate
  • Abnormal bleeding and menstrual disorders: Diagnosis and treatment of heavy periods, irregular cycles, endometriosis, fibroids, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
  • Pelvic pain evaluation: Workup and management of chronic or acute pelvic pain
  • Gynecologic surgery: Minimally invasive procedures including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, as well as hysterectomy when indicated
