A mental health crisis can strike when you least expect it. Our access centers provide immediate support if you are experiencing a serious issue like depression, substance abuse or psychosis.

Intermountain Access Centers are for crisis mental health care. As an alternative to the emergency room, the Access Center has mental health experts to stabilize and help you or your loved one create a treatment plan and a path to better mental wellness. Our physicians, nurses and therapists care for patients and their families through medical treatment and support services.

Admissions to the unit are facilitated through an Access Center or Emergency Department.
