At St. George Regional Hospital, we are proud to be the only Joint Commission Certified Primary Stroke Center with Thrombectomy Capabilities in Southern Utah. This certification demonstrates our expertise in treating the most complex strokes. Our stroke center combines cutting-edge technology with highly trained teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

We care for over 500 stroke patients each year and have been recognized with the highest award possible from the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines® —Stroke program. This recognition highlights our commitment to delivering exceptional stroke care.

Our compliance rates meet or exceed national standards

Our compliance rates are at or above the national safety standard and meet or exceed the American Heart Association/ American Stroke Association's "Get with the Guidelines" performance targets.

• Compliance with the American Heart Association's "Get with the Guidelines" Target Stroke Measures, exceed the national benchmark in all categories.
