We provide assessment and treatment of a variety of speech, language and cognitive deficits including communication difficulties as a result of a stroke, traumatic brain injury, concussion or other neurogenic conditions.
We also evaluate and treat:
- deficits of voice production
- difficulties in swallowing
Specialty programs for communication difficulties in Parkinson Disease patients and disorders of swallowing are available. Evaluation and treatment for pediatric speech and language impairments is also offered.
Our speech therapists have more than 75 years of combined practice experience in speech therapy, and continue to improve their understanding of the field through specialty certification and ongoing education to provide the highest level of care to patients.
What to Expect
Patients receive one-on-one consultation with a speech-language pathologist during their office visit. The speech-language pathologist administers formal and informal tests to evaluate the condition. Based on the test results, treatment options will be discussed.
Generally, an evaluation or treatment session takes about an hour.
