Getting to the Hospital

Take the Provo Center Street exit from I-15. Turn left on 500 West and travel north until you reach the hospital's campus, located between 940 North and Cougar Blvd. Each entrance to the hospital is marked by a large, colored number on the building.

Patients and visitors are welcome to park anywhere on campus. Park on the south side of campus for the Pedersen Tower (Entrance 1). Park on the northwest side of campus for the Women’s and Children’s Building (Entrance 2). Park on the north side of campus for the Sorenson Tower (Utah Valley Clinic) and the Outpatient Center.

Visiting Guidelines

Once our visitor restrictions are lifted, we welcome visitors to Utah Valley Hospital. Visitors provide patients with encouragement and support, which aids in the healing process. Patients may have as many well visitors as allowed on an individual unit. Contact the hospital operator to find unit-specific guidelines.

Safety & Security

The security of our patients, visitors and caregivers in the hospital is very important to us. Utah Valley Hospital has security officers on duty 24/7. For the protection of our patients and caregivers, some hospital entrances are locked from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. During these hours, please park on the south side of campus and enter through the Pedersen Tower. It is marked with a blue #1 on the building. If late-evening guests would like an escort to their car, they can contact a security officer. Utah Valley Hospital is a place of healing. Behavior that disrupts patient care or threatens safety is not tolerated. Please no weapons in the facility.
