Glen Porter, MD received his Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University. He completed medical school at Georgetown University. His surgical internship and residency were performed at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Porter is board certified with the American Board of Otolaryngology. He also holds a subspecialist board certification in Sleep Medicine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.Dr. Porter enjoys treating Ear, Nose and Throat problems. He is an expert at treating a wide variety of medical problems of the head and neck. He loves interacting with patients of all ages. Over the years he has added additional areas of expertise, including Sleep Medicine and Allergy. He founded the busiest on-site allergy clinic in North Utah County. He offers in-office sinus CT scans. He offers multiple in-office procedures. This allows him to provide comprehensive care for nearly all ENT problems. He enjoys working with patients to find solutions to medical problems that are in line with best medical practice and the patient's desires. Over the years, his conservative approach to working up and treating ENT issues has won him the trust of his patients. He continues to adopt and offer cutting edge technology and the newest in surgical techniques. He was the surgeon who performed the first hypoglossal nerve stimulator implantation in Utah. He is one of only a few surgeons who offer that procedure in Utah County.In his free time, Dr. Porter enjoys running, hiking and gardening. He is involved in church service and loves spending time with his beautiful wife and six children.
