Care that protects health, comfort, and childhood
From common conditions to rare diagnoses
Our specialists treat everything from urinary tract infections to complex congenital conditions. We use the least invasive approach possible while keeping your child’s safety and long-term health at the center of every decision.
Conditions we commonly treat include:
- Kidney and bladder disorders - Includes recurrent UTIs, hydronephrosis, and bladder dysfunction. Evaluation may include ultrasound and urodynamic testing.
- Obstruction of the urinary tract - Blockages that slow or stop urine flow (e.g., UPJ obstruction). We tailor treatment from observation to minimally invasive surgery.
- Vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) - Urine flows backward toward the kidneys. Options range from watchful waiting to endoscopic or surgical correction.
- Hypospadias and other genital differences - Birth differences of the urethra or genitalia. Most repairs are outpatient procedures performed by pediatric specialists.
- Undescended testicles - If a testicle hasn’t descended by 6 months, evaluation is recommended. Early treatment helps protect fertility.
- Neurogenic bladder and incontinence - Bladder control issues caused by nerve problems. Care may include medications, catheterization, and reconstructive options.
- Differences of sex development (DSD) - Coordinated care with endocrinology, gynecology, and psychology to support the child and family
- Kidney stones - Kid-friendly imaging and endoscopic treatments; we emphasize prevention and minimally invasive care.
Treatment may include:
- Imaging and urodynamic studies
- Endoscopic or minimally invasive procedures
- Reconstructive surgery for congenital anomalies
- Robotic-assisted surgery
- Long-term follow-up in outpatient clinics
