For many of us, the hardest part of healthcare isn’t the appointment itself.
It’s the work it takes to get there, finding a time that fits your schedule, waiting weeks to be seen, tracking down test results, coordinating referrals, and juggling the rest of life while trying to stay on top of your health.
Intermountain Health’s Concierge Health was created for people who want a more connected, streamlined way to stay well. Not a replacement for the excellent care Intermountain already provides, simply a different way to experience it. One that adapts to your goals, your routines, and your life stage.
“Concierge Health is a model of care that really brings primary care back to its roots,” says Anna Holman, MD, concierge medicine physician at Intermountain Health. “You have that family physician who is there for you, and you can call them when you need them. It’s the small-town doctor in the everyday world.”

Build a meaningful relationship with your doctor
For Justin Abbot, DO, medicine is a relationship first. “The relationships with people are what I really enjoy. And I’ve realized our focus needs to be on longevity medicine. I want people to come to me just where they’re at.”
The science and the treatments matter, of course they do, but the partnership between patient and provider is what brings those pieces to life. Concierge Health strengthens that partnership by giving people something many of us rarely get in healthcare: time.
Extended visits mean conversations don’t feel rushed. Patients can talk through the questions they’ve been saving, the symptoms they’re not sure how to describe, the health goals they want to set but haven’t known where to start. With a smaller patient panel, physicians can spend that time without the pressure of moving quickly to the next room.
“Whether it's the middle of the night or the middle of the day, I know I’ve got access to great people who care about me and know me personally,” explains Bill Johnson, a patient and member of Intermountain Health’s Concierge Health program.
Reach your care team whenever you need support
Life doesn’t organize itself around appointment slots. Kids get sick on weekends. Questions come up late at night. Training plans shift. Work gets busy.
Concierge Health gives members a care team they can reach 24/7, whether it’s a quick concern or something more urgent. Same- and next-day visits, virtual or in person, make it easier to address issues early instead of putting them off. For people who travel, work long or unpredictable hours, or balance multiple responsibilities, that flexibility can remove a major source of stress.
One winter, Bill recalls a time when a big storm rolled in, the kind that brings thick, heavy snow. A bad fall left him with a serious muscle injury.
“It was eight o’clock at night, and the doc met me here at the hospital,” Bill recalls. “We reviewed everything, went downstairs, and had a CT to see what kind of damage there was. To have that immediate care and answers, rather than having to wait for days, is invaluable.”
And because your care team knows your history, these touchpoints become more than quick check-ins. They’re part of an ongoing conversation about your health, your routines, and what might help you feel better, stronger, or more supported.

Get help coordinating tests, specialists, and next steps
A lot happens after an appointment: referrals, imaging, lab work, follow-up questions, and next steps that don’t always fit neatly into your week. Concierge Health helps carry those pieces, so you don’t have to.
Your team works closely with Intermountain Health’s specialists, imaging centers, and performance and wellness partners at Park City Hospital. They help coordinate appointments, clarify recommendations, and keep everything connected.
It’s about giving certain patients a model that matches the pace and demands of their lives. When the logistics feel seamless, it becomes easier to focus on what matters: your health.
Stay proactive with personalized wellness support
Concierge Health is built for long-term goals as much as day-to-day needs. Some patients use it to manage chronic conditions with steady guidance. Others use it to stay proactive in their 40s, 50s, and beyond. Many use it for support with nutrition, fitness, mental well-being, or maintaining an active lifestyle in the mountains.
“It’s wonderful to have a place with doctors who understand our needs and that we are active and want to stay active and be healthy for the rest of our lives,” says Bill.
Because the visits are unhurried and communication is ongoing, wellness conversations can evolve naturally. You might start by talking about sleep or stress, return to discuss nutrition, and later explore training adjustments or preventive screenings.
See whether Concierge Health is a good fit for your needs
Concierge Health is an option for people who want a more connected experience with their physician and more flexibility in how they access care.
Some people choose the model because they travel often or have demanding schedules. Others appreciate the help coordinating specialists or managing multiple conditions. Some want a deeper relationship with their doctor. And some choose it because they’re entering a new life phase, a new job, a growing family, or a shift in health goals, and want a partner to help guide the transition.

The Concierge Health membership includes enhanced access features like extended visits, 24/7 communication with your care team, same- or next-day scheduling, and coordinated support across Intermountain Health’s network. Many appointments can happen virtually. When you need to be seen in person, the clinic is located at Park City Hospital’s Sports Medicine and Performance Center.
