I was born and raised right here in Ogden, Utah! I have always loved living in Ogden for its proximity to outdoor recreation, an amazing outdoor community, and for being a wonderful place to raise a family. We are excited to be back in town, and I am so excited for the opportunity to train with the McKay-Dee Hospital Family Medicine Residency program.
Something that is unique to our residency program is that we have two separate inpatient services. In addition to a traditional adult inpatient team, we have our Family Medicine service which covers admitted patients from our Porter Family Medicine clinic, all hospitalized pediatric patients, continuity labor and delivery, and continuity post-partum/newborn patients. We are also fortunate to have amazing sports medicine exposure. Working closely with sports medicine faculty, our residents cover athletic events in the community, at local high schools, and major sports at Weber State University.
When I'm not at the hospital, I spend as much time as I can with my wife and two children. I also enjoy home renovation projects, eating great food, golfing, and skiing.
